Tech Tuesdays @ The Learning Hive
Exciting things are happening in Lexington City Schools! The Learning Hive, located in Room 5 at Lexington Middle School, is open for business! Beginning Tuesday, February 25 the Learning Hive will begin hosting Tech Tuesdays. In order to provide Professional Learning for all educators throughout Lexington City Schools, there will be two different times available.
3:00-3:45: Elementary
4:00-4:45: Secondary
Schedule of Events:
February 25 or March 18: What is A.I.? (This course will be a introduction to Artificial Intelligence and the importance of teaching A.I. throughout the curriculum. This course will offer statistics and facts to why A.I. is important and must be part of the curriculum being taught across North Carolina and the country. We will also discuss the North Carolina A.I. Guidelines & Principles).
April 1, 8, 15, or 22: How A.I. Can Assist Me in the Classroom? (This course will focus on schoolai.com and the specific tools that can assist with time management.)
April 29, May 6 or 13: A.I. in the Classroom. (This course will focus on schoolai.com and the various spaces, sidekicks, and other tools available for students to utilize for instruction and assistance).Below is the schedule and descriptions of the each session.
