Greeting Yellow Jacket Family. I could not be more proud and excited about joining the team at Lexington Middle School as the 7th-grade assistant principal.

I was born in Bronx, New York but graduated from Reynolds High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and continued my educational course work THE Appalachian State University in the beautiful mountains of Boone, NC. There I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics and Sociology. After many years as a Mathematics teacher and during my tenure at Lexington Senior High School, I was able to complete my graduate degree in Executive Leadership, at Gardner Webb University, Boiling Springs, NC - in the midst of a Pandemic. My most important work is that of the mother of a rising 4th grader at PES and a loving Matipoo Asher.

It is my honor to begin my 12th year in education and my 7th year in Lexington City Schools at LMS. Working diligently the last year as an instructional coach and AP Calculus teacher, I bring my practicum expertise and connections with the Lexington Community. We are working hard to continue to showcase and develop future greatness at LMS.
