LCS Plan for Reopening Plan

LCS Plan for Reopening Schools
LCS Plan for Reopening Schools

On July 20, the Lexington City School Board approved a plan to reopen schools on August 17th. The reopening will follow Governor Cooper's "Plan C" option, which is remote learning only. Students will return on a staggered reentry schedule, with elementary students returning first, followed by middle grade students, and then high school students.  Please see the highlights below and view the video message for more information.

Please know that the driving force behind our decisions will always be the safety and security of staff and students. We will continue to keep you posted as we work to reopen schools.
